Who we are

Neda Painter is the specialist painting and finishing division of Neda Builda. In this statement, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Neda Painter and the Neda Builda team responsible for responding to and delivering Neda Painter enquiries and projects.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide when you request a quote, contact us or discuss a project. This may include your name, email address, phone number, property address or suburb, preferred service, project details and any other information you include with your enquiry.

Our website hosting and form providers may also collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure their services, such as device, browser, IP address and cookie information.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to your enquiry, understand the work you are considering, arrange a site visit, prepare a scope or quote, communicate about your project and provide any services you ask us to complete.

We may also use it for reasonable business administration, record keeping, service improvement and to meet legal or safety obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Forms and service providers

Our online quote form is provided by Jotform. Information submitted through that form is processed using Jotform’s service before it is made available to the Neda Painter team. Our website and other essential business systems are also supported by service providers that process information on our behalf.

Some providers may process or store information outside New Zealand. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy and security terms. You can read the Jotform privacy policy.

Paint colour visualiser photos

When you use the paint colour visualiser with your own photo, the photo, the chosen surface names and colour selections are sent securely to Google’s Gemini image service solely to generate the requested preview. The result is returned to your browser and is not added to Neda Painter’s website, portfolio, social media or a public gallery.

Only upload a photo you are entitled to use. Avoid photos containing people, vehicle registrations, documents, house numbers or other personal or sensitive information. Google processes the submitted material as our technology provider under its own service and privacy terms. You can read the Google Privacy Policy.

Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose it was collected, our business records or any applicable legal requirements.

Cookies and technical data

The website, its hosting platform and the embedded quote form may use cookies or similar technology where needed for security, functionality and reliable delivery. You can control or remove cookies using your browser settings, although some form or website features may then work differently.

Your choices and rights

You can choose not to provide personal information, although we may then be unable to assess your project or prepare a quote. Under New Zealand privacy law, you may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you.
